After hitting a pothole and hearing a clanging noise follow me down the road, it was not until I got home I realized that that Foot Pedal had fallen off the bike rack.
Thankfully we were able to find it and it was not too far away. It had bounced a good way down the road. What we didn’t find was the bolt and spring washer that held it in place.
Kuat sell a replacement foot pedal, but there are no details on the bolt.
After trial and error with some bolts I had, and using some calipers to measure the length I bought an M8-1.25 50mm bolt and M8 ‘lock’ washer from the local Ace.
The bolt in the Kuat spares images does look shorter than the one I bought. I am hoping the extra length will help, along with the added threadlock.
